I used to think being strong meant without showing weakness. I was SO wrong. We are all flawed. It's part of what makes us who we are.

This painting went thru about 4 different lives until it was done but its finally done. The thing is, part of this painting ending up where it should be was NOT covering up the drips or tears from heaven. I needed this painting to be real, to be transparent, showing parts of its struggle to get where it is. The tears and layers it went through are part of who it is, just like me.

This painting does have real NC beach sand in the sand painted and should be noted that the sand will in time rub off if rubbed against.
