As a little girl, I grew up near the beach where seagull feathers were often found while walking the beach looking for sea glass.
I would collect the prettiest and bring them home as a trophy for my Mom who would sharpen them and use them to strum her dulcimer.
Sounds, aromas and objects can illicit memories so powerfully.
This new watercolor is a tribute to good memories.
